TALENT,- NEEDS A BETTER EXPLANATION

Have you started motivating your confidence?

To heft your baggage,

Don’t let me face rejections again

I constantly echo “one day my talent will be my success”

Today it might be overshadowed by an opaque vision of experts.

But someday, this opaqueness will become transparent, I am sure

I feel poignant for patience,

Trying to pacify me throughout.

Still, this impatient talent bounces up & down to fly out.

I read many articles on talent management, talent development, talent upliftment, etc. But nothing got my attention except a line - “what is talent- which makes a person more successful than others. I disagree with this and found it, downing my vibe. You know that there are people who are still searching for their inner talent or had developed the mindset that I am not talented and might not be the achiever of my aspirations, this can be a serious let-down point for such people. It’s not talent that makes you successful, it’s right utilization uplifts you.

WHAT IS TALENT?

Talent is a skill that gives you uniqueness, a slight relaxation in your arduous journey, but is it, one of your best qualities? Best quality needs dedication, die-hard spirit, assiduousness, a potent mindset, and a focused goal. Skills can be God-gifted (talent) or can be developed over time like, PV SINDHU, whose family had volleyball players but she opted for badminton and learned it from its core. Your skill to turn into your best quality requires a lot, my friend. Talent alone doesn’t make you more successful than others, it’s the right utilization, and all the qualities I mentioned above make it a success for you. Talent to rise doesn’t require a perfect lifestyle, but imperfections also with your “KARNA HAI BAS SPIRIT” can get you the best of your expectations. One such example is ARUNIMA SINHA who in an accident in 2011 lost her leg, still didn’t fail to outshine her talent- is the world’s first amputee to scale Mount Everest, Mount Kilimanjaro, etc. and is also a seven-time Indian volleyball player.

There are three types of people I know-

1. Those who are talented enough but their talent gets suppressed – Some people have discovered their talent at the right time, and want to turn it into their best quality but, lack of opportunities, lack of motivation by their elders, laziness, etc. can be a great hurdle. Some of the points to get out of this situation are-

  • Start creating opportunities for yourself. This is a digital era- if you are good at writing start writing quotes, blogs, - I created an opportunity for me by making my website and publishing my content there, if you are good at cooking, you can start your YouTube channel and many options to go with.

  • Start showing your talent and sharing your growth and success rate with your elders to convince them.

  • At last, save it from getting destroyed with a courageous, confident, and ready-to-do spirit attitude.

2. Those who are still searching for their talent and are finding it hard to explore- Some people are always exploring peace for their mindset when it comes to special skills. They think they are not lucky enough to get a talent, that is being admired by everyone. Let’s take an example- When a child among his friends, see one of them dancing well, singing fabulous, having great computer skills, etc. -start searching these special skills in himself/ herself too, to get the appreciation his all mates are getting, and when he finds it hard to identify, he starts losing his hopes.

FOR SUCH PEOPLE-

  • Start taking part in all the activities you come to know about, it will help you to notice which activity you can do seamlessly with full enjoyment.

  • Notice those activities which are getting you a lot of appreciation or your parent’s motivation like MIRABAI CHANU whose family identified her strength when she could easily carry a huge bundle of firewood, which his brother failed to do.

  • Also, you can focus on those activities which are coming naturally out of you, you can do them in a more relaxed way. Like, some can do contemporary dance more flawlessly than others who might have to put some extra effort into it.

  • Start asking your relatives, friends about your weaknesses and strengths, because sometimes what we fail to notice, others may not.

  • If you have still not found it and want to be different, madly, then explore your interests, give your 100% and become far more talented than others.

  1. Those who are talented and give their talent the right direction- Some people are very much talented, naturally, get opportunities to practice and get the support of elders too. NEHA KAKKAR we all are aware of, she had the talent of singing, with full diligence, dedication, and her parent’s support she worked tirelessly to achieve her dream of being a renowned singer.

I can talk of 1000 celebrities

But they have achieved what they desired for

Now, they are a source of inspiration for us.
